Omar Khawaja is a Houston personal injury attorney with a reputation for aggressive advocacy and compassionate representation. After helping recover millions of dollars for accident victims and grieving families, Omar founded his law firm in 2018 to deliver what he calls “Justice without Compromise.”
From Prosecutor to Personal Injury Lawyer
Omar began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in both Midland and Fort Bend County. There, he prosecuted dozens of misdemeanor and felony trials from start to verdict—building a courtroom foundation that still defines his work today as a plaintiff’s attorney.
Education & Early Legal Experience
Originally from Houston, Omar earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Arizona. He later attended law school at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., while clerking at the Securities and Exchange Commission and working in the legal department for the City of Houston.
A Lawyer Who Understands People and Policy
Before becoming an attorney, Omar served as a congressional aide—giving him insight into government, legislation, and the systems that shape injury law. Today, that experience translates into smarter strategy and stronger results for his clients.
Local Roots. National Impact.
Omar is licensed to practice in Texas and is a proud member of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. He also serves on the boards of the South Asian Chamber of Commerce and the Houston-Karachi Sister City Association.
