David Ghably

Associate Attorney

David Ghably was born in Aleppo, Syria, and was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. Mr. Ghably received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a focus on national policy from The University of Houston. After graduating, Mr. Ghably attended The University of Houston Law Center. During his law school career, he served as Editorial Board Chief Recent Developments Editor for the Journal of Consumer and Commercial Law. Mr. Ghably was selected to join the Mock Trial and Moot Court Teams. Through the Mock Trial Team, he was able to gain valuable litigation experience. Mr. Ghably was selected to compete in an international Moot Court competition, which allowed him to learn the intricacies of international bilateral investment treaty arbitration.

Prior to joiningThe Law Offices of Omar Khawaja, Mr. Ghably gained valuable trial experience working at the Bergquist Law Firm as a litigation attorney. Throughout his three-year tenure with the Bergquist Law Firm, Mr. Ghably was able to successfully represent clients through motions, hearings, depositions, and full-length trials as a second and first chair attorney.

Mr. Ghably is based in our Houston, Texas office.
