Overview

Nathan Koneru is a Houston native and experienced plaintiff’s attorney who represents individuals and families in catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and product liability litigation. With nearly a decade of litigation experience, Nathan has handled complex cases against some of the nation’s largest corporations, including Ford Motor Company, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Michelin, Bridgestone, Union Pacific Railroad and Uber.

Nathan’s practice focuses on catastrophic injuries arising from commercial trucking accidents, motor vehicle collisions, defective automotive products, and corporate negligence. He has extensive experience litigating complex automotive defect cases involving tires, seatbelts, airbags, and seatbacks. His practice also includes medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, and other serious personal injury matters.

Nathan has successfully litigated complex legal issues in state and federal courts across the country. Notably, Nathan served as an integral member of the trial team in Charles v. XPO Logistics, a wrongful death case in Miami, Florida, that resulted in a $31 million jury verdict. Nathan played a significant role in the litigation, including conducting depositions, briefing dispositive motions, and handling appellate proceedings. In another case, Nathan successfully persuaded a federal court in Nebraska to permit a claim for punitive damages against Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company under Nebraska’s uniquely restrictive punitive damages framework. Nathan has also utilized his knowledge of international law and the Hague Evidence Convention to secure a Florida state court order permitting an inspection of a tire manufacturer’s production facility in Qingdao, China. The case settled shortly after the court’s ruling.

Nathan earned his Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University and his Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School, where he developed his litigation skills through the school’s nationally recognized trial advocacy program. He subsequently earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Litigation from Queen Mary University of London, further strengthening his understanding of complex cross-border disputes and international legal proceedings.

Nathan believes that effective advocacy begins with understanding his clients and the profound impact that serious injuries can have on their lives. He approaches each case with a commitment to thorough preparation, strategic litigation, and personalized representation. Whether negotiating a resolution or preparing for trial, Nathan remains focused on holding negligent parties accountable and achieving meaningful results for the individuals and families he represents.

Personal Interests

Outside the practice of law, Nathan enjoys traveling internationally, cheering on the Texas A&M Aggies, and supporting his hometown Houston Rockets, Astros, and Texans. He also enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Sami, and their mini Goldendoodle, Ellie.
